Lisa is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a board certified Health Coach. She received her Masters degree in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Spiritual Depth Psychology at Antioch University Los Angeles.

She finds great satisfaction in bringing her unique approach to blending Psychodynamic, Solution-focused, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), 12-Step Recovery (if applicable) and Mindfulness-Based techniques to her practice. Lisa trained as a Mindfulness-Based Psychotherapist at the Center for Mindful Living where she learned to incorporate self-compassion as an intricate part of her teachings and therapeutic approach. She works with High School students struggling with stress, anxiety, depression and challenges surrounding the transition to college-life. Lisa has worked in drug and alcohol treatment facilities for over 3 years supporting those struggling to live a life of sobriety in recovery.

Lisa also received professional training at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition accredited by Columbia University Teacher’s College in New York City in 2007 where she became a Board Certified Health Coach. Lisa takes a comprehensive and holistic approach to your health and well-being. She works to integrate all aspects for your development – mind, body, and spirit. Along with how you feel in the world socially and emotionally with yourself and others, together you will address the impact that family, community and society influence your beliefs, values, choices and behaviors.

Today, Lisa works with adults, adolescents and families suffering from mental health and drug & alcohol related issues such as anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem. Lisa also has years of experience working in addiction recovery centers, eating disorders/disordered eating, negative body image and phase of life issues.

Lisa LaGuardia Fischer, MA, LMFT

Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (#LMFT113848)
Founder & Director, Soul 2 Soul Healing
Certified Health Coach

Lisa has been a godsend to me. Not just because she helped me heal from the loss of the Love of my Life. Not just because she helped cure me from an addiction to alcohol. Not just because she has a solid foundation in clinical and practical psychology. These are all important attributes to consider in choosing a therapist, but Lisa also possesses knowledge and skills that one might not expect.

Her empathy for her client’s situation is palpable. Her moral and ethical foundation makes it clear that she strives to be the best person she can be and that she wants her clients to be the best they can be. There is a spiritual component to her wisdom that comes from a higher place but does not come off as a religion. She can, by her example, give her clients a glimpse of that higher place which may start them on the journey there themselves.

If you are seeking someone to talk to, for whatever reason, it is my humble opinion that you can find no one better than Lisa LaGuardia Fischer.

I’ve been seeing Lisa for 2 years and she changed my life. She coached me through breakups, boundaries, and transitioning to adulthood. She is extremely relatable, listens when I speak, and gives advice when I ask for it. The idea of therapy always scared me, but Lisa made it so easy and worthwhile. If you want to give therapy a try, I highly suggest seeing Lisa!

I’m not exaggerating when I say this is the best therapy I’ve experienced (and I’ve had my fair share of therapists). Lisa does more than just listen to what I’m going through but also helps to challenge me to be the best version of myself.

She is the best therapist I have ever had and I would highly recommend her to anyone asking! She has helped changed my life for the better in so many ways and I am so grateful for her help 🙂
